To Scan for Malware:
1. Launch the Malware Scanner option from CloudOne.
2. On the main window, select a scan option:
Quick Scan
This option will perform the following:
- Scan all files
- Scan boot sectors
- Scan for Viruses, Adware, Spyware, Applications, Dialers, Keyloggers, Runtime Packers
- Scan for Potentially Unwanted Programs (PuPs)
- If malicious object is detected, do nothing (just report).
Complete Scan
This option will perform the following:
- Scan all files
- Scan boot sectors
- Scan for Viruses, Adware, Spyware, Applications, Dialers, Rootkits, Keyloggers, Registry Keys, Runtime Packers, Scan Cookies, Scan, Boot Sectors, Memory Processes, Scan Archives, Scan Runtime packers, Scan Emails
- Scan for Potentially Unwanted Programs (PuPs)
- If malicious object is detected, attempt to disinfect first and move to quarantine second
Custom Scan
This option allows the user to create a custom scan profile.
3. To launch the scan, click the Start Scan button
4. Once the scan is complete, a report will be immediately save and open locally, upload a report to the CloudOne account and display scan details.
