FAST Inversion Testing
While the standard Inversion Destructive Hard Drive Test performs a sequence of 3 loops, the Fast Inversion Destructive Hard Drive test performs only a single loop for time sensitive testing sessions.
Again, execute this test only after backing-up data and only if you suspect damaged sectors. If a defect is detected or if the test is somehow interrupted, the original data will not be written back to the drive.

Note:
Back up drive data before running any destructive testing.
Do not shut-down machine during testing.
- Select the Inversion test from the Hard Drive Destructive Menu.
- Type YES after reading the warning message.
- The test will start from the outer ends of the drive and work its way in to Cylinder 0.
This test can take a long time to run on larger size drives (60 gig plus) as it writes each sector, checks and re-writes the original data. If no errors are found, the drive will have all the original data after the test is completed. If errors are found, the data on those tracks will be lost.
