This section describes the Diagnostic function.
Three options are available in the Diagnostic menu.
- Default Check
- Will perform basic testing on the motherboard (PCI and ACPI), memory (16 test patterns), primary storage (SMART Short Test), CPU and dead pixel monitor test.
- Extended Check
- Will perform a complete comprehensive test on the system (Mainboard (PCI & ACPI), CPU Stress, CPU Cache Test, 21 Memory Pattern Test, SMART Short, Extended and conveyance Test on primary HDD, Card Reader Media Presence test, LAN PING Test, Wifi, Network connection, Bluetooth presence, USB Presence, Audio playback, OpenGL and DirectX Video Tests, WebCam Test, Keyboard, Mouse, and Battery Test).
- Memory Check Only
- Will perform 21 test patterns on the memory subsystem
- Custom Test Script
- Custom test script may be created and executed using the advanced script mode. Please reference the PC Inspector Scripting Guide for additional details.
