This function allows you to test CD/CDR/CD-RW; DVD/DVDR/DVDRW drives. Any speed CD/DVD Drive is supported, including the industry’s current fastest drives. This test will perform read seek tests and will require CD or DVD media to be installed before running.
A Write/Read/Verify test is also available to test CD/DVD & Blu-Ray writable drives. Be sure to insert blank media prior to starting the test.
The Optical Media Presence Test will perform a quick check to see if media is inserted and can be read.
The Optical Media Absence Test will perform a quick check to see if media is absent from the optical drive.
